Inspired by the cards given to hold printed passport photos, ‘Thin skin’ attempts to find a new way to combine text and image whilst still encouraging transportability of the work. This is the first part of the work, with further instalments expected focusing on the portable/letter aspect.
The text remains the same in each, but the images change. Seven different pairs of images are possible, each slotted in to the card via pre-cut opening.
Each cards is sealed in a glassine envelope.
